Honda introduced the 24mm Showa damper in 2011. The larger piston provides more resistance and comes with 5W oil from the factory. Good choice if you are getting it re-valved by a suspension company.
You can now order the 24mm Honda steering damper directly from MojoMotoSport. The larger piston is better suited for Off-road use or for riders that prefer a stiffer setting. Many Off-road racers prefer this larger piston unit with a re-valve from a reputable suspension company
(Note KX owners will need Ride Engineering's shorter front number plate posts: KX-BCP16-00 for models 2013+).
(Note CRF Owners will need Ride Engineering's Steering Head Stabilizer Bracket: CR-SB000-00 which fit's 2021+ CRF Models. Full Triple Clamp Sets also come with a bracket built into them)
